“UNDER AFRICAN SKIES”
I explore history through illustration, textiles & mixed media, reinterpreted with a contemporary voice.
I focus on accessibility, identity & culture, collaborating with heritage organisations to bring the past to life. Whether you’re a museum professional, historian, or have a unique story to share, we could bring history to life. “Under African Skies” is — a freestanding heritage installation piece. It is a non location specific series of 24 individually framed illustrations of African Kingdoms and its Kings and Queens mounted as a 6 x 4 matrix on a copper frame and wooden base.
My installation was recently part of The BSWN - Black South West Network - Culture Biz Connect Artist Showcase Event. This was a celebration of bold creativity and powerful storytelling from 25 chosen Black and Racially Minoritised artists and cultural producers representing the South West of England.
For Black History Month 2025 my installation Under African Skies was showcased at CURO’s Housing Association Head Office in Bath.
